Under Construction
Nothing is ever suddenly built.

First, we must conceive it.

Then we must plan it.

Finally, we build it.

I remember the first time I heard this concept and thought how crazy it was. Years later, I know better. And here we are doing it again.

Alison, as she often does, said that we should do something like this in response to an idea I had. It bounced back and forth between us until finally I said we needed to take action on it. As often happens between us, she’s the one who took said action.

This has meant that we both are now in a learning mode and enjoying the process. That delightful process of frustration because you know you can do better, remembering that, no, not really, we’re new at it and since its new…. You get the idea.

I have a ton of thoughts as to what we can blog about. Alison keeps handing me the notebook and tells me to write them down. A useful practice as it’s going to help with writer’s block later on. It’ll happen, happens to everyone. So it’s good she’s preparing us.

In the meantime, we’re getting this up off the ground. Building out the page a bit better each day (-ish), adding some content, getting things in place so we can offer you insights and understandings that will at the least have you saying to yourself, “I feel that way! I’m not alone!” or, “Never thought of this that way!” or some such.

As we work toward this goal, we appreciate you patience with us and our site as we build our foundations.
